Gold bars are the most liquid form of physical gold for institutional transactions. Unlike jewellery or coins, bars are priced purely on gold content with minimal fabrication premium, making them straightforward to value and settle.

Our current active mandate is for 10 kg bars of African-provenance gold. We also welcome enquiries for other standard bar sizes — 1 kg, 5 kg, and 400 oz — and can source appropriate buyers from our institutional network.

Contact us on WhatsApp with details of your bars: quantity, bar size, refinery mark if any, purity, and current location. We will advise on the best route to a buyer and the documentation required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What bar sizes do buyers accept?
Institutional buyers accept 1 oz, 100 g, 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, and 400 oz (Good Delivery) bars. Our current mandate is specifically for 10 kg. Enquire for other sizes.
Do bars need to be from a recognised refinery?
LBMA-approved or major-refinery bars (PAMP, Valcambi, Perth Mint, Rand Refinery, etc.) are easiest to sell at spot with minimum scrutiny. Bars of unknown or unrecognised origin require independent assay but are still acceptable if the metal is genuine.
Can I sell cast bars vs. minted bars?
Both are acceptable. Cast bars (poured gold with a rough surface) and minted bars (polished, precision-cut) are both standard forms. Cast bars are more common in larger industrial sizes (10 kg+); minted bars are more common in retail sizes.
